The Filmmaker
Cezary Albin is a Polish filmmaker, director, and screenwriter who has been making waves in the independent film scene.
Born in 1986, he comes from a family of respected TV production designers – his parents Maria Kucia-Albin and Andrzej Albin. He spent his youth in various theatres around Poland, observing actors and honing his craft.
This led him to write a book called “Mage’s Code” as a teenager.
He has since made several independent films, two of which – “Konrad” and “The Orchestra of Invisible Instruments” – took part in the prestigious Gdynia Film Festival with the latter released in limited distribution in Polish cinemas.
In addition to his filmmaking skills, Cezary also holds a Master’s Degree in English Studies.
Most recently, he created a series for children called “The Fairy Tale Land”. He sold the pilot episode to the biggest Polish TV broadcaster (TVP) and wrote, directed, and edited 17 more episodes.
His interests include photography, AI, world-building, and board games.
He is currently working on an innovative dystopian series set in an alternate reality where dieselpunk meets socialist realism.
